Languages with free translation event — English, Chinese. Languages without the free event — Japanese, German, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian. An English birth certificate can be prepared in two ways. 1) Translation-notarization of the birth certificate issued by the hospital. 2) Translation-notarization using the basic certificate + family relation certificate. 1) For the hospital birth certificate — send the original or a copy and, after translation, notarization-by-proxy proceeds; if needed, apostille or MOFA consular confirmation followed by embassy certification. 2) For the basic + family relation certificate — since the basic certificate does not show the parents' details, we recommend doing it together with the family relation certificate. From issuance through translation and notarization-by-proxy, and if needed apostille or MOFA consular confirmation followed by embassy certification. It can proceed by the above procedure.

The responsible department differs by the purpose of the family relation certificate. ▶ For unaccompanied-minor travel: Unaccompanied Minor Team (070-7705-8636) ▶ For visa or language-study purposes: Notarization Team (02-730-5155). (A family relation certificate is not issued separately in English, so it must be translated and notarized; from issuance through translation and notarization-by-proxy, our head office handles it on your behalf.)

Of the customers we have served so far, more than half proceeded only up to notarization, but some went all the way to apostille or embassy certification depending on the school's request, so for the exact procedure you should ask the school where you will submit it.

We assist with issuance, translation and notarization-by-proxy, and if needed up to MOFA certification and embassy certification. If you need to start from issuance, apply on the website only for issuance of the document, and leave a note in the memo field such as “translation/notarization desired after the document is completed.” If you already have the document and need translation/notarization, send it to notary@allminwon.com and we will reply with the cost and lead time for translation and notarization-by-proxy.

An exact cost can be provided after checking the original, so if you send the document to notary@allminwon.com, we will check it, review it with a translator, and inform you of the price and the translation lead time.

To apply for a power of attorney, you need fact notarization. For fact notarization, you need a power of attorney bearing the handwritten signature of the person granting it, the real-estate registration certificate, and the ID of the authorized person.

In the Embassy Certification category, apply for the “Chinese translation + notarization-by-proxy + MOFA + Chinese embassy certification” product. Depending on your purpose, choose between “commercial” and “civil” in the options.

If you register the marriage in China first, translate your Korean marriage relation certificate into Chinese, then have it notarized and certified by the Chinese embassy. On our website, add the “Marriage relation certificate” to the cart, and in the Embassy Certification category apply for “Chinese translation + notarization-by-proxy + MOFA + Chinese embassy certification.”

An English diploma issued by a national university can be apostilled without notarization. An English diploma from a private university can be apostilled after notarization of comparison with the original.

It is a simplification of the embassy-certification procedure: a convention that simplifies the translation–notarization–consular confirmation–embassy certification process into translation–notarization–apostille. It is effective among apostille convention countries, and the apostille must be obtained in the country where the document was issued.

The basic required documents are a criminal investigation record certificate (for foreign entry/stay permit), a career certificate, a graduation certificate and a qualification certificate; if your family's visa is also needed, a family relation certificate. The Korea Integrated Civil-Affairs Center can handle the entire process — translation, notarization and MOFA certification — on your behalf.

Generally the required documents include the articles of incorporation, the financial statements for the last two years, a power of attorney, a bank balance certificate, a business registration certificate, a certified copy of the corporate register, the representative's passport, and the Vietnamese branch manager's passport; however, there are regional differences, so you should confirm once more with the local submission office, and costs differ by document.

Documents for notarization should be applied for via the Translation, Notarization-by-proxy, Apostille page. For corporate or individual translation requests that are not for notarization, the procedure is as follows. 1. Send the material to be translated by email. 2. A staff member at the Korea Integrated Civil-Affairs Center receives the material and arranges a translator and a reviewer. 3. A quotation for the requested material is sent to the email address you provided. 4. If the quoted amount is acceptable, reply by email that you wish to commission the translation. Once you reply, we issue an invoice for that amount and you pay within a set period. 5. The staff member receives the request, asks the translator to proceed, and once translation is complete has it reviewed by a reviewer. 6. The final reviewed translation is delivered to the customer. *Delivery is available for both originals and copies. We proceeded with issuance based on the details you applied for, but if it turns out the document cannot be issued for your case, then even though you did not receive the requested document, a refund for the portion already processed is difficult.

When a mobile payment is made, your payment is processed to the mobile carrier as of the end of this month. The mobile carrier pays the amount to a payment company called “Danal” two months later, and that amount is in turn paid to the online payment company Inicis. In other words, our company can only receive the mobile-payment amount after 3 months have passed.

All civil-affairs services of the Korea Integrated Civil-Affairs Center are services that require people to move. They therefore involve labor costs as well as operating costs (rent, maintenance fees, computers, printers, ink, scanners, advertising), and so on. We would appreciate it if you compared us with other providers taking these costs into account as well.
